“People come to their ripening when they are ready to.”
In this weeks episode of Eggzistential Breakfast, I have a chat with Meesa Pedrozo. Meesa is a Licensed Acupuncturist, East Asian Medical Practitioner and Diviner. Through her Tacoma based practice, she holistically integrates Western and Eastern healing practices providing comprehensive treatment that aligns the mind, body and spirit. Although our children attend the same middle school, I officially met Messa at a birthday party of a mutual friend and I was immediately taken by her charismatic smile, her eclectic style and her distinctly Filipino sense of humor. I knew instantly that I wanted to have her on the podcast.
Despite her chill vibe, Meesa is a spiritual and healing powerhouse. I realized this shortly after starting our recording of this episode. Her ability to conceptualize and articulate esoteric concepts in an easy to understand and practical manner is seemless. I have to admit, that I found myself a little out of my depth at times. This is apparent as I bumble along trying to find words to describe my understanding of the concepts she was imparting. But my intellectual limitations were not the only challenges we encountered. We contended with hammering and buzzing sounds in the background and curious cats walking across the screen. But we made it through and Meesa was so gracious and just rolled with it all. To be honest, I considered not uploading this episode and rerecording Meesa under more controlled conditions. But Meesa was too good. So I put my (rudimentary) editing skills to task so that I could share our conversation with you all.
So I hope that you enjoy this episode. I apologize for the sound quality and my bumbling. We are a work in progress.
